Supply Chain Optimization

Projects (selection):

• Planning and implementation of the After Sales Service in China

• Technical Competency Mapping. Document the manufacturing processes at each of the manufacturing sites worldwide, assess / assign a competency level and define the resident experts.

• Systems and Tools assessment and Strategy. Document the systems, tools, and data reporting procedures currently in use within the manufacturing and distribution sites as well as within Supply Chain Planning and Procurement and develop standardization and improvement recommendations. Develop a project plan and business case to implement the recommendations.

• Define and conduct  the necessary actions for compliance with the Korea Packaging and Recycling Act and develop tools and procedures in order to meet packaging and recycling legislation in Korea.

Site Relocation

Projects (selection):

• Relocation of the Israeli site. Check expansion possibilities in other places and assure a smooth transition of production machines and processes to the new site. Assure necessary certifications and other regulatory requirements and determine timeline.

• Set up and start up of a manufacturing plant in Brazil (Greenfield).

• Shut down and closure of a manufacturing site in China.

• Exiting the Traditional  Business and shutting down associated Supply Chain, Commercial, Product Group, and Central activities - includes closure or divestiture of the associated facilities in Mexico, Japan, Singapore, France, Germany, USA.

Projects (selection):

• Development and introduction of the Asia Manufacturing and Supply Chain Strategy. Development and definition of the product strategies, business case and time line for manufacturing in Asia. Evaluate product and location opportunities and options, as well as opportunities and possibilities for manufacturing within the Asia Pacific Region.

• Reorganisation of Chinese suppliers and ensuring sourcing of components / subassemblies  in China.
